Performance has always been my life, from aspiring ballerina as a child, to sketcher, actress, 'singer,' harpist, and finally to one who wants to photograph it all.
When I lived in New York City, my favorite jobs were for Estee Lauder, a major cosmetics firm, and for Hill & Knowlton, a large public relations firm. Our job, in both, was to make other people look good. That is still what I love to do. When I photograph, I ask myself, “If I were this person, how would I want to look?”
As a philosophy major at Columbia University, my favorite subject was aesthetics. As a photographer, my goal is to showcase the beauty of performing artists and all ‘artists at life’ as my eye sees them.
For relaxation, I like to photograph things that don’t move, such as a unique and beautiful house or a cathedral.
I have recently begun developing harp courses for child, adult, and disabled students.
